MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
ATTENTION. ALWAYS DISCONNECT the power take-off (PTO) and REMOVE tractor keys
before adjusting, lubricating or performing any maintenance on the mixer.
NOT PAYING ATTENTION MAY CAUSE SERIOUS PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.
- When a replacement of parts is required, you must use genuine factory parts to restore
the equipment, following the specifications of the original parts. TATOMA will not
assume any responsibility for the use of unauthorized parts and/or accessories that may
cause damage as a result of their use.
- If the equipment has been altered in any way, from its original design, TATOMA will
not accept any responsibility for warranty or possible injuries.
LUBRICATION:
- Disconnect the transmission and turn off the power of the tractor before lubricating
the machine.
- DO NOT wear loose clothing that can get caught in moving parts.
- Grease the drive shafts and universal joints every 8 hours of operation.
- Reductor & 2 speed gear box: After the first 500 hours of operation, drain the initial oil
preferably when the box is hot. For an effective oil change, the unit should be washed
with a detergent liquid, preferably that recommended by the lubricant supplier and
refilled with clean oil. Thereafter the oil must be changed every 2000 hours or 12
months, whichever comes first. Fill the gearbox with 80W-90 synthetic lubricant.

Recommendation
: check the gearbox oil level at least once a month. If after the review
you have to add more than 10% of the total capacity, check for oil leaks.
- Gearbox housing temperature: under normal operating conditions, the temperature
of the outer casing of the gearbox must not exceed 175° F (80° C).
