Emergency Situation
The battery electrolyte is colorless
and has a sweet odour. If electrolyte
leaks and accidentally enters into
eyes, rinse your eyes with clear wa-
ter and get medical aid immedi-
ately. Do not rub your eyes as it may
get worse.
During usage and storage process
of the battery, if you find any unu-
sual smell, heat, color change, de-
formation or any other unusual ac-
tivity, please cut off the power im-
mediately.
Explosion will not occur under ex-
treme conditions, but the battery
may smoke, for this situation the
cell should be isolated from air by
any measures except using water,
such as covering with sand, or using
carbon dioxide Fire extinguisher, dry
powder fire extinguisher. The cell
should be treated after smoke dis-
persing.
If your vehicle is drivable, pull your
vehicle off the road, shift to Neutral
(N), apply the parking brake, and
switch off the ignition. Open Bonnet
and press service disconnect switch
for turn the EV (Electric Vehicle) sys-
tem off.
The vehicle’s 72V battery system is
of Li-ion type and has solvents as
electrolyte. In case of fire or any
high impact accident that damages
the battery, the first responder is ad-
vised to check vehicle for the extent
of damage and any damages to 72V
DC system. Do a check for any dam-
age to the battery and its compart-
ment.
