2. Driving:
a.
Drive your car in ‘D’ mode to optimize
the drive range with moderate accel-
eration.
b.
Drive your car in ‘S’ mode only while
overtaking vehicles & negotiating
gradients and slope if necessary.
c.
With the vehicle running and brake
pedal pressed, depending on your re-
quirement shift the lever on R, D or
S. Check the position engaged on the
instrument cluster display.
d.
Release the parking brake.
e.
Release the brake pedal then be-
cause of creep feature, vehicle will
move and if required press accelera-
tor pedal.
NOTE
Vehicle will not move in Any MODE
if the Driver door will be in open con-
dition.
Creeping feature:
Creeping function allows the car move-
ment without accelerator pedal and
when the brake pedal is released.
This function is generally used to move
the car from stand still condition or as-
sist in parking. Creep function in enabled
in D, S and R modes. The speed of the
car is limited to 5Kmph.
Once the brake pedal and hand brake is
released, the creep function is activated.
Vehicle starts moving forward or reverse
on the lever selection.
Whenever accelerator pedal is
pressed creep function will be disa-
bled.
Creep function will disabled when
the door is opened.
NOTE
Creep function will be disabled when
accelerator pedal is pressed or when
a door is opened.
WARNING
Do not reduce the speed of the vehi-
cle on a slippery road surface in an
attempt to increase braking effect,
the drive wheels could lose their grip.
There is an increased danger of skid-
ding and accidents.
NOTE
Use right foot only to operate
brake or accelerator pedal.
Do not operate accelerator and
brake pedal simultaneously.
If displayed on the Instrument
Cluster display, it means ‘Fault
condition. Contact a TATA MO-
TORS Authorized Service Centre
immediately.
