Some frequently asked questions related to the features and
functions of the CONNECTNEXT® infotainment system are
listed below along with their answers.
1.
I installed NaviMaps App in my smartphone but it
doesn't work with my TATA vehicle?
Along with NaviMaps App, ConnectNext App and
ConnectNext Service shall also to be installed for the
TBT Navigation feature to work with your TATA car. If
ConnectNext App is not installed, Go to the Play Store
and install it.
2. I installed ConnectNext App only in my smartphone
will the TBT navigation feature work in my TATA
vehicle?
Along with ConnectNext App and ConnectNext
Service, NaviMaps shall also be installed for the TBT
Navigation feature to work with your TATA car. If
NaviMaps app is not installed, Go to the Play Store and
install it.
3. I am already a using NaviMaps app before I bought
my TATA vehicle. Will the TBT Navigation feature
work in my new TATA vehicle?
May not be. It depends on the version of the App
which you were using. It is preferable to update the
app for the TBT Navigation feature to work with your
new TATA vehicle.
4. Is internet connection required for using navigation
Internet connection is required only for the
downloading of App and Maps and unlocking Pro-
guidance for Voice prompts when connected to the
infotainment system. After successful download and
installation, you can use the TBT Navigation feature
without your internet connection as maps are locally
available in your smartphone. So, Internet charges
might be applicable for download of app & Maps only
but not for the usage of the NaviMaps, except while
using the Live Traffic updates.
NOTE:
For using the Live Traffic function, you
should ensure that the data connection of
your smartphone is active.
5. Which Map shall I download? And how much
memory is required in my smartphone
NaviMaps installed in smartphone will prompt for
downloading the app. Based on your choice you can
