Program Master Fader
Each o f the fo ur PROGRAM sec tio ns contain a
1 00 mm Fader fo r the setting of the final PRO
GRAM o utput leve l . As in the case of the
Channel Faders, e ach carries gradient scale
mark i ngs fo r re lative level indicatio n .

Program I NSERTion Jack
As i n the channe l sectio n, the PROG RAM
SECTIONS are fitted with a standard 1 /4"
stereo break jack , providing POST FADER
access to the signal flow within the respective
PROGRAM. The input (ring) side of this jack
provides the final PROGRAM signal to the
TAPE RTN SE LECT SWITCHES, A F L circuit
and, of co urse , the vario us PROGRAM final
o utputs.
� AFL (After Fader Listen) Switch
The selectio n of this locking switch se nds the
PROGRAM signal to the SOLO buss, providing
the o pe rating engineer access fo r mo nito ring the
final PROGRAM co ntent. The take·off po int is
afte r the PROGRAM FADER and INSERTION
JACK.

PGM OUTput Connector- XLR
This X LR type co nnecto r is designed to pro·
vide an e lectro nically balanced o utput derived
post fade r from pro gr ams
1-4.
Be low each X L R
i s a two positio n slide switch which allows the
signal to be se lected as e ither balanced o r un·
balanced, as required. When in the balanced
position, the o utput leve l is +4 dBm with pin
3 high and pin 2 low and pin 1 shield . I n the
unbalanced positio n, the o utput rem ains at
+4
dBm , howeve r the pinout changes as fo llo ws:

PGM OUTputs -·RCA
These RCA-type jack s provide the same signal
as fo und at the X LR co nnecto r, except it is
always unbalanced and the nom i nal leve l is -10
dBV. The PGM OUT RCA and XLRs are con
nected in paralle l and can be use d simultaneo us
ly.
