6 – Using the Settings Panel

LINK button overview

When a LINK button on the “MIXER” page is turned on/off, the 

settings differ according to whether the stereo link is enabled or 

disabled.
The details of the settings are as follows.

When a LINK button is turned on

Button/knob

Setting status

Select buttons

On if a Select button was on (lit) for 

either channel.
Off if the Select buttons were off 

(unlit) for both channels.

PHASE buttons

Settings are not combined.
Both channels retain their previous 

settings.

EQ buttons

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

COMP buttons

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

Effect AUX selection 

buttons

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

AUX knobs (1–4)

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

SOLO buttons

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

MUTE buttons

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

Pan sliders

Settings are not combined.
Odd and even channels can each be 

set independently.

Channel faders

The setting of the odd channel is 

used for both.

Channel level meters

The channel level meters are shown 

as a stereo pair.

Fader level display areas

The setting of the odd channel is 

shown.

NOTE

When a LINK button is turned on (lit), the select button 

name changes to a name used when the stereo link is active.
Examples

When the “M/INST 1” and “M/INST 2” buttons are linked, 

the name of the button changes to “M/INST 1-2”.

When a LINK button is turned off

Button/knob

If the Select button was on (lit) for 

either channel, the odd channel will 

be turned on and the even channel 

will be turned off.
If the Select buttons were off (unlit) 

for both channels, they will both 

stay off.

PHASE buttons

Settings do not change. Both 

channels retain their previous 

settings.

EQ buttons

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

COMP buttons

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

Effect AUX selection

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

AUX knobs (1–4)

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

SOLO buttons

If a SOLO button was on (lit) when 

stereo-linked, this button will be on 

for both channels.
If the SOLO buttons were off (unlit) 

for both channels, they will both 

stay off.

MUTE buttons

If a MUTE button was on (lit) when 

stereo-linked, this button will be on 

for both channels.
If the MUTE buttons were off (unlit) 

for both channels, they will both 

stay off.

Pan sliders

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

Channel faders

Both channels use the settings they 

shared when stereo-linked.

Channel level meters

The channel level meters are shown 

independently again.

Fader level display areas

These setting values of each 

channel are shown.
