PROHIBITION
The blade guard (K) tilts back for simplified blade (L)
installation and removal - maximum 10" (254mm) blade
capacity. The external water tube assembly (H) is
removable for easy maintenance.
The Porta-Tile II features a 1-1/2 HP, High Torque HT)
115V/60/1 motor as standard. A 1 HP, 240V/50/1 motor
is also available.
The dependable, high volume, submersible coolant
pump features a screened intake.
The motor and pump power cords are securely mounted
directly into the Motor Housing.
The removable Drain Plug (P) at the back end of the
Water Pan (3) permits easy coolant draining and quick
sludge clean out. The Water Pan is easy to clean sim-
ply by lifting out the saw Frame Assembly (2).
The free-rolling Conveyor Cart (4) is factory aligned
for straight smooth cuts. It has a large work surface.
The Cart freely travels on its durable, steel bearing
wheels.
The standard Rip Guide (R) features an instant clamp
and release system. Other optional accessories with
this feature are also available. The highly visible ruler
guide on the cart assists in accurately locating the rip
guide.
Makes diagonal cuts on 8" x 8" (203 x 203 mm)
tile. Can make 12 (305mm) rip cuts.
Full-size belt shield and belt protection.

Before starting up the machine, make sure you
read this entire manual and are familiar with the
operation of this machine.
The working area must be completely clear, well
lit and all safety hazards removed.
Use

Sawing of any kind of tile, up to 12" (305mm)
diagonal on 8" x 8" (203 x 203mm) tile.
Tools:
Rip Guide comes standard on all tile saws. See
Tile Cutting Accessories
on page 17.
