G SENSOR
Your Dashboard Camera features a G-sensor which reacts to vibrations or impacts. If the Dashboard
Camera detects an impact, the current video clip is automatically saved in a subfolder “RO” of the
“MOVIE” folder. This video sequence is protected automatically. In other words, it will not be overwritten.
You can define the sensitivity of the G-sensor.
The following settings are available:
G SENSOR Description
Off G-sensor disabled
High High sensitivity
Medium Medium sensitivity
Low Low sensitivity
Make sure the Dashboard Camera is switched on and already in "Loop recording" mode so that
a video of any potential accident scene can be recorded.
Whenever the G-sensor detects an impact, the current video recording is protected. This is
represented by the icon on top of the display (13).
11.2 Still image capture menu
The still image capture menu allows you to set the different photo shooting parameters. To open the still
image capture menu:
1. Power the Dashboard Camera on by pressing the On/Off button (8). Or, if you have connected the
car charger or an optional USB power adapter, the Dashboard Camera will switch on automatically
as soon as it receives power.
2. Press the OK button (5) to stop recording and then the Mode button (6) to select the Still image mode.
3. Press the Menu button (3) to display the menu associated with still image capture.
