The pan is not put into the
appliance properly

Push the baskets securely into the
air fryer.

Foods are not
completely
cooked

Too much ingredients

in the basket

Place smaller batches of ingredients
into the basket for more even frying.

The set temperature is too low

Increase the cooking temperature.

The cooking time is too short

Problem

Possible Causes

Solution

Dark smoke
comes out of
the air fryer

Food is burning.

Immediately unplug your air fryer.
Allow it to cool and wait for smoke
to clear before pulling the baskets
out.

White smoke
comes out of
the air fryer

You are cooking greasy foods

Cooking greasy foods will cause oil
to leak into the outer basket. This oil
will produce white smoke, and the
baskets may be hotter than usual.
This is normal, and should not affect
cooking. Handle baskets with care.

First time use

The air fryer may produce some
white smoke when you use it for the
first time. This is normal.

Grease residues in the pan

Make sure the baskets and the
inside of the air fryer are cleaned
properly and not greasy after each
use.

Flaking of non-
stick coating

Metal cleaning brush or abrasive
cleaner is used to clean the frying
tray and basket

Clean the frying tray and basket with
moderate detergent and a slightly
moist, non-abrasive sponge or cloth.

Remaining
odor

Remaining odor during packaging
or transportation

Before first use of your new Air
Fryer, we strongly recommended
you to clean and preheat the air
fryer at 400°F for 15 minutes to
remove any remaining odor.
