The TankTop Cover makes a great planter for your garden.
Made of polyethylene and recycled plastics, these products are designed to be an aesthetically
pleasing décor element to enhance your outdoors.
Refer to this manual when prepping your area, assembling the planter base, wishing well and
securing everything in place.
Supplies
Gather the following items to make prep work and assembly easier:
Shovel
Preparing the area for the base
Locate the space you wish to put the planter. If needed, level the ground to prevent the basin
from wobbling and tipping over. Shovel the dirt away so that there is approximately a 28 inch
circle in the area you chose. Place the basin in on the circle and make sure it doesn’t wobble.
Secure TankTop Cover products against tipping over
Two 2x4 inch boards (not included) can be cut to 33 inches in length and laid across the bottom
of the base. Next several bricks, rocks or sandbags can be placed on top of the 2x4 inch boards
to add weight. If your yard is likely to have high winds, consider adding more weight.
If the planter base is in a permanent location, several inches of dirt can be placed in the bottom
also.
Finally, refer to the end of this manual for attaching the roof.
Removing for maintenance
Remove the planters and set aside. Reach inside the base and remove the three wing nuts and
colored carriage bolts. Lift the TankTop Cover off, leaving the security hoop in place.
