Important Notes
• The unit should be closed when replacing
batteries.
• If you do not intend to use the product for a long
period of time, it is recommended to remove the
batteries.
• Store batteries out of reach from children, in a
temperate place free of excessive humidity.
• Do not apply pressure or subject the unit
to vibration.
• Clean occasionally by wiping with a soft
dry cloth.
• Do not use any liquids when cleaning the unit
(water, benzene, thinner, etc.).
• Do not disassemble or wash the unit.
About Sunburn
Erythema, reddening of the skin, commonly known
as sunburn, occurs when your skin has been
exposed to too much UV. While attributed to UVB,
UVA also plays a role in causing sunburn. Your risk
of skin cancer grows with every sunburn you get.
Sunburn is not connected with the sensation of heat.
You can feel heat but incur no damage when sitting
inside a UV absorbing window pane. Or you can have
UV related skin damage on cold, cloudy days without
any heat sensation. So although you may not see the
sun or feel the heat, you are still at risk. UV exposure
increases at higher altitudes, is substantially greater
