The software “MCR for Windows” does not start, why 

not?

A6. 

Please check the following:

• The software may not have been installed correctly. Try reinstalling 

“MCR for Windows”.

• Check to see if the software was installed with Administrator rights.

(For Windows 7 or earlier:)

• The .NET Framework 4 Client Profile may not have been installed 

correctly. Follow the steps below to see if the .NET Framework 4 

Client Profile has been installed correctly.

In the Control Panel, open [Program and Features] or [Uninstall a 

Program].

When the .Net Framework 4 Client Profile is not in the list above:

Try reinstalling “MCR for Windows”. The .Net Framework 4 Client 

Profile will be automatically installed with the “MCR for Windows”.
