Unit should be connected to a listed class 2 power

source capable of providing standby power for at
minimum 4 hours.

Troubleshooting

Operation LED does not light up

1. Disruption of power or inadequate power.

- Correct power supply.

2. Bad wiring connections or broken wire, short-circuit.

- Check and correct wiring.

Receiver Alarm LED does not light up when the beam
is interrupted.

1. Disruption of power or inadequate power.

- Correct power supply.

2. Bad wiring connections or broken wire, short-

circuit.

- Check and correct wiring.

4. Four beams are not interrupted simultaneously.

- Ensure all beams are interrupted at same time.

5. Beam interruption time is shorter than response

time.

- Adjust response time.

Receiver Alarm LED stays on

1. Alignment is out.

- Check and adjust.

2. Obstruction between transmitter and receiver.

- Check site / remove any possible obstacles.

3. Optical parts of units are soiled.

- Clean the optical parts with a soft cloth.

4. Frequency channel setting on transmitter does not

match with that on receiver.

- Readjust to the same channel.

Intermittent alarm

1. Bad wiring connection.

- Check again.

2. Change of supply voltage.

- Stabilize supply voltage.

3. Obstructing object between transmitter and

receiver.

- Remove the obstruction.

4. Transient spikes on supply cables.

- Relocate.

5. Loose installation of transmitter and receiver.

- Tighten.

6. Optical parts of units are soiled.

- Clean the optical parts with a soft cloth.

7. Poor alignment.

- Check and adjust again.

8. Animals pass through the four beams.

- Change environment of the installation.

9. Beam power switch is set to L; not enough

sensitivity.

- Set beam power switch to H and make the unit

gain-locked with the receiver cover detached.
