(6) Removable Step

1. Remove the step.

Remove the step fixture held by the guide and remove the step.

Holding the step fixture against the positioning stoppers, attach the step fixture to the

guide, and securely insert the plating Flange nuts(M6) on the back side of the step into

the two insertion holes.

The adjuster, which prevents the chair from overturning, is located on the underside

of the step. To adjust the adjuster, loosen the plating hexagonal nut (M10) by using

a wrench (No. 17) to adjust the height of the adjuster, and then tighten the plating

hexagonal nut (M10) by using a wrench (No. 17).

WARNING

When extending the adjuster, be careful that the adjuster does not rub the

floor or catch on the power cord during rotating the chair.

HOW TO USE

25

You can remove the step anytime it might interfere such as when sitting a wheelchair

customer in the chair.

After installing the step, check that the step fixture is securely held by

the guide, the plating Flange nuts(M6)  are inserted in the insertion

holes, and the step is not loose. Be careful that there is no looseness as

this could result in instability when the customer is getting in and out

of the chair, and in rubbing against the upper surface of the step when

the legrest is raised.

• When installing and removing the step, always make sure that the

legrest is raised. (AB-LGS,LGSX,LGL,LGLX,LGP)

Be careful when lifting and carrying the step, and of where you place it

because the step is heavy. Dropping the step could result in serious

injury.
