5 Procedures

The procedures within this Chapter contain
relevant information to ensure your SV-2003-
X2 Server maintains its maximum performance
potential.

5.1 Installing Red Hat 4.5 for S5000PAL and Adaptec 3805 system

1.

Make sure that the supplied floppy is in a USB
floppy drive and attached to the system; be sure
the DVD is in the DVD-ROM.

2.

With the hard drives set in RAID, enter BIOS and
confirm the boot order:
