Adjusting the volume

Adjusting the ringer volume changes the volume level of the phone ring
tone, whereas adjusting the Media volume changes the volume level
of sound notifi cations and music or video playback. The ringer volume
and media volume can be adjusted separately.

Adjust the ringer volume

Two different ways are proposed to adjust the ringer volume of your
phone.
1. The fi rst one consists in pressing the volume buttons situated on the
right hand side of your phone.

2. Another way consists in adjusting the Ringer volume by pressing on

then you touch on Settings and you select the Sound menu. Press

on “ Volume ” and slide your ﬁ nger on the “ Ringtone ” bar to adjust the

volume of your ringer.
3. If you want to put the ringer on silent mode, touch the silent mode check

box.

Tip : To quickly switch your phone to silent mode, press and hold the
POWER key and then select Silent mode in the options menu. You can
also press and hold the volume key (-) located on the phone’s left hand
side.

Adjust the media volume

When you listen to your music or you watch a video, touch the volume
scroll bar to adjust the media volume or press volume keys directly
