Group Calls: Addition of Participants

Allows an authorized user to transfer a new participant to an established
conference. The feature enables a user engaged in a conversation to add his
conversing party to the ongoing conference. The feature can be enabled when
the Group Call is not locked against non-registered participants, and
connecting to the ongoing conference is not restricted.
To add an additional participant to an outgoing group call:
1. While connected to a station/trunk

*. Listen for the dial tone.

3. Dial the Group Call access code or press the lit
[GROUP CALL#]

4. Warning tone will be heard by all participants (if defined system-wide).

5. Both the new participant and yourself are connected to the group call.
Note:
1) When the group is defined as locked against non-registered
participants, and one of the conversing parties is not registered,
C N F L O C K ( C O N F # )
the reorder tone is heard and the CNF LOCK message is
displayed. The registered party joins successfully, while the non-
registered party is disconnected. If neither are registered
members, both conversing parties will be disconnected
2) When the group is defined such that no new participant can join an
ongoing conference, both conversing parties will be disconnected.
The busy tone is heard and the BUSY message is displayed.
