Entering a Frequency on the FM Band:
1.
After choosing FM MODE, enter the desired frequency in a five (5) digit format
on the Keypad.
2.
To enter an FM station frequency such as 96.90 MHz, enter 09690 and
then press the ―#‖key.
To enter a higher FM frequency such as 100.50 MHz, enter 10050 and
then press the ―#‖ key.
All frequencies must be entered in a five (5) digit format.
Worldwide FM Band 64MHz – 108 MHz
Using AM/SHORTWAVE MODE Seek/Tune Function:
1.
While in AM MODE, push the third (3rd) push-button.
2.
The LCD display will flash ―SEEKING‖ and the radio will tune to the next
available radio frequency.
3.
Once in AM MODE, it is not necessary to choose a station before using the
Seek/Tune function.
4.
A fast survey of shortwave reception at a particular time can be made by using the
AM SEEK button to scan through the shortwave band to see what can be heard.
Using FM MODE Seek/Tune Function:
1.
While in FM MODE, push the fourth (4
th
) push-button.
2.
The LCD display will flash ―SEEKING‖ and the radio will tune to the next
available FM radio frequency.
3.
Once in FM MODE, it is not necessary to choose a station before using the
Seek/Tune function.

The radio will seek frequencies below the North American standard FM band of
88 MHz to 108MHz. If you do not desire to seek below 88MHz, when the radio
stops at a frequency such as 74 MHz, simply enter 08800, press the ―#‖ key and
then press the Seek/Tune push-button again.
