Connector, stand the PCB up vertically in the alcohol and use an old toothbrush
or stiff paint brush to thoroughly clean all flux and solder residue from the rear of
the PCB. (Figure 17) Take your time and clean both sides.

After cleaning is completed, thoroughly dry the PCB and all connectors with
compressed air or a hair dryer using the warm setting.

Use a Q-Tip sparingly dipped in alcohol to clean the solder joints on the LCD
display.
Do not allow alcohol to touch on any other part of the LCD
display other than the solder joints. Do not immerse the LCD display
in alcohol.
Dry the solder joints of the LCD display by dabbing them with a
paper towel or a dry Q-Tip.
