Turn the device over. With the camera at the top, slide the end-cover to
the left with your left thumb while carefully pressing the notched line,
and lift the end-cover to remove it.

Remove the battery cover by following the instructions in “Removable
Battery” step 2. Lift the battery cover to remove it.

Take your replacement end-cover and slide it back to the original
position.
