Using the RoadSync to synchronise
RoadSync provides secure, wireless, and direct synchronisation of
e-mail, calendar and contacts. Before using RoadSync, make sure you
switch on the wireless data connection. You will also need an
Exchange user name, password, and server information.
Note: RoadSync works with Exchange Server 2003 or 2007 when
mobile access is enabled.
RoadSync first-use Wizard and initial setup
If RoadSync came with your phone or if you have a registration number
and activation key, you can register with DataViz to get product
updates, special offers on other DataViz and partner products, and
access support resources and more. To get started you’ll be asked to
complete the first-use wizard and setup, and here’s how:
1. On Main Menu, touch Roadsync Mail/Roadsync Calendar to
display the Welcome screen.
2. Follow the instructions and enter your registration information to
register with DataViz.
3. After registering with DataViz, you’ll be asked to complete setup
for the first time.
4. Following the instructions, enter your Exchange user name,
password, and server information.
5. If your details are verified, you can begin to enjoy RoadSync.
How to use the RoadSync email application
The RoadSync mailbox will integrate with your mobile message box
for online or offline use. All changes made on the phone will
automatically synchronize with the Exchange server and be up-to-date
when you open Microsoft® Office Outlook® on your desktop.
1. On Main Menu, touch RoadSync Mail.
2. Complete the register and initial setup.
