The programming is done using a button and 2 LED's, mounted as shown
on figure(*).
- LED OFF: Indicates it is not generating Advance
- LED ON: Indicates it is generating Advance.
- LED blinking: There is a detection MISTAKE of the CKP and
CMP entries. Does not generate Advance. This condition can
be solved executing a Self-programming.
During the programming stage it shows the option we are modifying, which
is done through the amount of blinks.
Shows the value of the option selected through the blinks.
Allows to select the different programming options and the
different values within each option.
(*)Programming can also be done through a PTAa 105 terminal or a
dedicated program on PC.
With the vehicle in contact, press the button and
release it, you will see the LED
´s start blinking, in this case the red LED will
blink indicating it is in the option 1 (Advance Curve), the green LED will
blink indicating in which curve the TAP is set up. If no change is made
through the button, the LED's will repeat the previous sequence 5 times
and go back to normal running.
to pass from one option to the other, the button
must be kept pressed until the red LED stays ON and then release it. For
instance, if it is in option 1 (red LED 1blink), keep the button pressed until
de red LED lights, release the button, now the device will be in option 2
(the red LED will blink twice). If the procedure is repeated, the option 3 will
take place and so on until getting to the last option, where, if the procedure
is repeated, the option 1 will be reached.

Change of values:
to modify the value of an option, enter in programming
mode and select the option with the previous procedure. Once it is in the
wanted option, each time the button is pushed shortly, the value is modified
passing to the following one, until getting to the last one, where if pushed
shortly again, it passes to the first one.
