The
corners
of
sound
attenuator
are
provided
with
securing
bolts
during
transport
and
lifting.
Remove
them
directly
before
mounting
and
change
with
the
supplied
ones.

Suction
side
is
equipped
with
a
short
nozzle,
which
contribute
to
better
ex
‐
traction.
If
the
suction
side
should
be
provided
with
a
flap
VKV/F
rsp.

nected

a
duct,
remove
the
nozzle
before
mounting.
After
removing
the
nozzle,
all
screws
should
be
well
tightened
to
prevent
ingress
of
moisture.
NOTE
It
is
recommended
to
install
a
certified
flexible
connection
(needed
for
smoke
extract
fans
only)
between
fan
and
duct
to
avoid
eventual
tensions
or
distortions
of
the
base
plate.
Flexible
connection
has
to
comply
temperature/time
class
of
the
fan
(400°C/2h
rsp.
600°C/2h).

the
cover
of
connection
box/service
switch
(inside).

The
quality
and
routing
of
power
supply
cable
must
ensure
uninterrupted
energy
supply,
also
in
case
of
fire.
Inside
fire
zone
use
only
certified
cable.
Electric
cable
must
not
touch
or
be
fastened
on
the
casing
of
the
fan.
NOTE
•
IE2
motors
have
serial
built
‐
in
PTC
(at
other
motors
on
request).
More
than
two
PTC
chains
may
not
be
switched
in
series,
as
this
can
lead
to
undefined
cut
‐
outs.
•
Maximum
check
voltage
of
PTC
is
