5.1 Switching the device on

Press the ON/OFF button between the dummy plugs on the left-
hand side of the PILOT 217 monitor/thin client.

Loss of data due to failure to save it.
Failure to save your data or failure to close down the
industrial PC in an orderly fashion may cause you to lose
data and may also damage the components.
– Save your data regularly.
– Always close down the industrial PC in an orderly
fashion.
Close the system down in an orderly fashion.

5.3 Operating the touchscreen
With PCT (projected capacitive) multi-touch there is no need
to install a driver.
