Connect the power cord to the unit and to the wall outlet and turn on the power switch on the front panel.

Check if the
Active
message is displayed on the front LCD.
5.
Turn on the DVR system.
CAUTION: Make sure that the power switch of the unit turned on before turning on the DVR
system.
CAUTION: Do NOT remove the eSATA cable while the unit or DVR is operating, otherwise,
the unit or DVR may not operate properly.
