information manually on your SPT 1740.
Note: If the Subnet Mask box on your PC is empty, you do not need to enter
anything in that section on your SPT 1740. Also, Network Hotsync
setup must be run on this PC before the Network tab will be available.
d. Tap “OK”.
7. To configure the Conduit Setup :
a. Select the menu icon to display the options menu.
b. Select Conduit Setup.
c. Check any items that you want synchronized and uncheck any items that you
don’t want synchronized. Then tap “OK.”
8. To configure the Connection Setup:
a. Select the menu icon to display the options menu.
b. Select Connection Setup.
c. For optimal performance, choose a communication speed of 57600 bps and a
Standard modem.
d. Tap “Done.”
9. To select the Spectrum24 service:
a. Select the HotSync application from the main application screen.
b. Tap the Modem box.
c. Tap the Select Service box.
d. Select the Spectrum24 service.
e. Tap “Done”.
