MK2000 MicroKiosk Product Reference Guide

Scan a 2D Bar Code Screen

The Scan a 2D bar code screen allows store associates to read a 2-D bar code such as a
PDF or composite code (see sample 2D bar code (PDF417) on page C-7).

After selecting the Scan a 2D bar code button, the scanning mode (laser scan pattern) is
switched from omni-directional (cyclone) 1-D scanning mode to 2-D scan mode. The a 2D
bar code is scanned, the MK2000 beeps and displays the bar code data.
