FMT 3000 Hardware Reference Guide - Option Installation and Operation

Bar Code Slot Reader and Magnetic Stripe Reader Mounting 
Brackets

There are four mounting brackets designed for mounting bar code slot readers and magnetic 
stripe readers on the mounting options described in the previous sections.  For the Tilt Wall 
Mounting Enclosure and the Desk Stand, the brackets can be mounted to the right- or left-
hand side of the unit.  For the Flat Wall Mount, brackets are mounted to the right-hand side 
of the unit.  Separate brackets are used for the bar code slot reader and magnetic stripe reader 
units shown.

Figure 3-5 shows the right-side mounting magnetic stripe reader bracket (LPA035) for the 
Flat Wall Mount and the Magnetic stripe reader track 1 & 2 with mini-DIN keyboard wedge 
connector (MSR-WA6920-3).
