7.Use of Each Component

7. Use of Each Component

(The following is SYM 4 stroke liquid cooling scooter’s basic operation, and they could vary from different 
individual models. Please consult the end of this manual.) 

Multi- Function Display Meter 

  CAUTION : 

•

Not to have trouble on electrical meter working, or damage the electrical meter.

•

Do not wipe plastic components, e.g. instrument panel, headlight, with organic solvents such as

gasoline…etc. to avoid damaging these components.

•

Speedometer:

This shows your speed in kilometers and miles per hour (Outer ring for Km/h, inner ring for MPH).

•

Odometer

：

This odometer shows the total kilometers this scooter has been driven.

•

High Beam Indicator( blue)

：

This indicator comes on with high beam headlight is turned on.

•

Turn Signal Indicator(green)

：

The left or right Indicator will be flashing according to the operated directions of turn signal light switch 

when it is turned on.

•

Fuel Display

：

The fuel gauge doesn’t come on when the main switch is at “OFF” position.

The fuel display frame is a seven-segment from D1 to D7 LCD bars to indicate the amount of fuel in the

tank. The fuel tank indication displays correctly when key switch is turned to

,and indication change

by steps in sequence. The LCD bars will disappear as the fuel level decreases. When the D1&E&     is

lit, refuel as soon as possible. D1 is on the fuel reserve position, remind you of avoiding becoming

stranded without fuel.

Voltage display

：

When key switch is turned to “ON”, LCD show voltage function for 10 seconds first, and then change to

“TIME” mode.
