BASIC PLAYBACK
Using the Title / Disc Menu
DVD may contain a title list, which describes the contents
of the disc, or a disc menu, which guides you through the
available functions in the disc.
1) Press [MENU/LIST] or [TOP MENU] to call up the title
list or disc menu.
2) Use [
K

/

] to make a selection, and then
press [ENTER] to enable your selection.
3) Press [STOP
C
] to exit the disc menu.
1) During playback, press [PAUSE

Playback will be paused and sound will be muted.

] to return to the normal playback.

• You can select a numbered menu with
[the Number
buttons]
also.
• Menus vary among discs. Refer to the information
accompanying the disc for details.

• For DVD, set “Still Mode” to “Field” in “Playback”
menu if pictures in the pause mode are blurred.

The Picture CD is a service to convert photographs taken
by a conventional film camera into digital data and write
the data on a CD. You can enjoy picture images on the TV
set by playing back the Picture CDs.
For details of Kodak Picture CD, contact a shop that
provides developing service of Kodak Inc.

Notes on JPEG and Kodak Picture CD:
• After track is displayed for 5 seconds or 10 seconds
(set in the “Slide Show” on page 52) the display
moves to the next track.
During JPEG or Kodak Picture CD playback, press

to rotate a picture 90 degrees clockwise or
counterclockwise respectively.
(Not available when the display menu appears.)
