Changing the probe
The Hi_Cal enables the use of different probes and accessories. To change
the probe, simply unscrew the lever and insert the new probe.
Important :
• Check if the eccentric probe is correctly positioned
• Clamp it firmly
• Make sure to use probes with weight value compatible with the
weight adjustment selector
The probe constant must be checked after any probe change or modification
of the probe position.
The Hi_Cal cursor has been balanced for a standard 2mm ball probe. For
heavier probes such as depth measuring probes, the cursor balance must be
set in the UP position.
