i) Clearing successive memory cells
This function enables to clear a memory cell group, e.g. when the code lock is installed in a
rental unit (warehouse, private house, etc.) and a new tenant has moved in. Only the successive
memory cells can be cleared, e.g. memory cells 012 - 025. The user code for each memory cell
is reset to factory defaults.
By default, the user code is “8888”. The number of digits in the default user code (5
to 8 digits) depends on the number of digits in the master code (for example, if the
master code has five digits, the default user code is “88888”).
Proceed as follows:
•
Enter the master code twice to start the programming mode, as described in section 8. a).
The yellow LED must light up.
•
Enter the programming code to enable deletion:
•
The code lock will emit 2 beeps.
•
Enter the code for deleting a memory cell group:
• Enter the memory cell group to be cleared (number of the first memory cell, star key, number
of the last memory cell).
Example: Clear memory cells 012 - 025:
•
The code lock will emit a long beep.
•
Press the
button to finish the deletion process. The programming mode is exited and the
code lock goes back to standby mode.
Example for clearing memory cells 012 - 025 (the default master code “1234” is used as an
example; you must use your own master code):
