12. Troubleshooting
Problem
Cause
Suggestion
The heater
does not
switch ON.
No power to the mains socket available or
main fuse defective.
Check the power supply and main fuse.
Plug has not been fully inserted.
Plug the power cable into the mains socket.
The device was not switched ON using the
main power switch.
Switch the device ON.
Tip-over switch has been triggered.
Return the heater to the normal upright position.
The room temperature is above the
temperature set on the thermostat.
Normal operation. Device automatically turns on
and heats up as soon as the temperature drops
below the set value.
Overheat protection has been triggered.
Immediately remove any object covering the
heater (if applicable) and turn the power OFF.
Wait until the appliance has cooled down
sufficiently, then switch the power back on ON.
If the heater will not power back ON it may be
damaged from the excessive heat. Turn the
power OFF, disconnect from the power supply.
Contact our technical support service or other
technical personnel.

the display.
The temperature sensor is not functioning
correctly.
Turn the power OFF! Disconnect from the power
