d) Operation Location
• Only use the product in temperate climates, not in tropical climates.
• Do not place the product directly beneath a wall socket.
• The mains socket must be located near to the device and be easily accessible.
•
Do not operate the device in environments where there are high levels of dust, flammable gases,
vapours or solvents. There is a danger of fire and explosion!
• Do not use the product in vehicles or similar moving objects and spaces.
•
Risk of fire! Keep sufficient distance to flammable or easily flammable materials and objects (such as
curtains, doors, furniture, etc.) during use to ensure sufficient air circulation. Observe the minimum
clearance distances given in this manual at all times.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. use the handle(s)
when moving this heater.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least
1 m from the heater.
• Do not place the product on or near surfaces that may be damaged by heat (i.e., delicate rugs, wall paper,
floor coverings not made of heat-resistant material, etc.).

The heater should not be used in a room with a floor area less than 5 m
2
.

Risk of fire! Do not operate the heater over flammable or carpeted surfaces.
e) Mains Cable
• Do not modify the mains cable.
• Never use the product if the mains cable is damaged. A damaged mains cable can cause a fatal electric
shock.
• Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•
Fire hazard! Unwind the mains cable completely. A mains cable that is not completely unwound can lead
to overheating.
• Never unplug the mains plug by pulling on the cable; always use the grips on the plug.
•
Make sure that the mains cable is not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges or put under mechanical
stress.
• Do not run the mains cable under a carpet or cover the mains cable with rugs, runners or other materials.
• Avoid excessive thermal stress on the mains cable from extreme heat or cold.
• Do not touch a damaged mains cable. First, power down the respective mains socket (e.g. via the
respective circuit breaker) and then carefully pull the mains plug from the mains socket.
• Unplug the mains plug from the mains socket if you do not use the device for an extended period of time.
f) Storage
• Before you store the product, disconnect it from the power supply and let it cool down to room
temperature.
