Taking a call being recorded
If the answering machine has already started to record a message from a caller, you can take the
call by pressing the
button.
Internal memos
A memo can be recorded on the answering machine for other machine users, e.g. members of
the family. Only one memo can be recorded at a time, therefore the old memo must be deleted
before a new one can be recorded.
Security code for remote access
The answering machine is provided with a personal identification number so only you can listen to
incoming messages via the remote access feature. The default security code set at the factory is
000". You should change the default 3−digit security code.
Outgoing message menu
Press the
button in the main menu to open the
Outgoing message
(OGM) menu. You can
record outgoing messages. After OGM 1 has been played, the caller can leave a message.
OGM 2 is purely an answer only announcement after which no message can be left.
