Getting to know your telephone
Softkeys (multifunctional keys)
Right softkey: choose
menu options, confirms entries/settings. Left softkey:
returns to previous menu step.
Navigation key
For scrolling up/down or right/left.
Open redial list
Open call list
To the right
Mute (during a call)
Call key
Short press: Initialize call preparation
Long press: Handsfree
"End call" key
During conversation: end call
Long press in standby: switch the handset off
Short press in standby: switch the display backlight on/off
In a menu: back to idle mode
Alphanumerical keypad
For entering telephone
numbers and text.
Press and hold down "0" when entering a telephone
number to insert a dialling pause between two digits.
Network Answering Machine (Voicebox)
Press and
hold down for direct access to network answer machine.
Asterisk key
For entering asterisks. Press and hold down
to switch handset ringer on/off.
Hash key
For entering the hash symbol. Press and hold
down to switch keylock on.
Enquiry key
Press key R to activate some network
functions.

Open phonebook
