Notes on the user guide

This section explains the meaning of cer-

tain typographical conventions that are 

used in this user guide.

Example of a menu input

The steps you need to perform are shown 

in abbreviated form in the user guide. This 

is illustrated below using the example of 

"Setting the contrast for the display". The 

things you have to do are explained in the 

boxes.

Example of multiple line input 

In many situations you can change set-

tings or enter data in several lines of a dis-

play.
In this user guide, icons are used to guide 

you step by step through multiple line 

input. This is illustrated below using the 

example of "Setting the date and time". 

The things you have to do are explained in 

the boxes.
