Take off the cut-off mechanism.

Rinse the pump with water while turning the

coupling. This loosens the honey so it is easier to

open the pump housing.

Open the pump housing.

Take out the loose gear as well as the axis that are

still in the pump housing. It can be necessary to rinse

thoroughly with water to loosen the parts.

Go to the sink.

Unscrew the lowest fitting (nut).
