7.2 Safera safety technology

The Safera cooker guard accessory can easily
be connected to Smart cooker hoods – the
power supply comes from the hood.

When the cooker hood is connected, Safera
stove guard opens the cooker hood’s damper
and switches on the lighting. The system is
adaptive, which means that delays may occur
during the first few times of use. The hood’s
damper closes and the lighting is switched off
with a brief delay for airing after use. The airing
time is controlled automatically and lasts from
a few minutes to a maximum of 45 minutes.

The Blues cooker hood can also be fitted with
a fire extinguishing unit equipped with an
integrated Safera Siro cooker guard.

Safera’s user guide is supplied with cooker
hoods equipped with Safera safety technology.

7.3 Twist fan unit

(TTEC)

Swegon CASA Twist is a fan unit for cooker
hoods. The fan unit can also be used as a
house fan. The fan unit is controlled with a
Swegon CASA Smart cooker hood. Twist is
equipped with an energy efficient EC-direct
current fan.

The cooker hood and fan unit has separate
power supply cables, and therefore require a
double wall socket.

7.4 ILVA transformer unit

(ITFC)

It is possible, with all Swegon CASA cooker
hoods, to control a ventilation unit with trans-
former technology or a power roof ventilator
with three speeds with the help of a ILVA
transformer unit.

7.5 Ext out-relay for 230 V

(CHR)

Based on the damper’s position signal, it’s pos-
sible using an external relay, to control exter-
nal devices for 230 V. Connection instructions
are supplied together with the accessory.
