When the sauna is working, the ventilation is
boosted with the set value, through the acti-
vation of the automatic sauna limitation. This
function prevents variations in the fan speeds
while the sauna is working.
BOOSTED SUMMER COOLING
Function for summer cooling
The heat exchanger takes care of the cool
indoor air during hot summer days and cools
the incoming outdoor air. At night the air
passes the heat exchanger and the home is
cooled with fresh outdoor air. The settings
for summer cooling are changed from the
“
Summer cooling “ menu.
While the summer cooling function is in prog-
ress, the ventilation is boosted by activating
the boosting of summer cooling from the
“
Smart Functions ” menu.
The boosted summer cooling makes it pos-
sible to use the cooling rate once the set limits
have been met. The boost function can be
limited by using the weekly program to only
allow the cooling rate at specific times.
For summer cooling you need to define the
limit values for the outdoor temperature and
the room temperature, which must be exceed-
ed for the function to be enabled. The outside
air must be cooler than the room air.
AUTO AIR QUALITY CONTROL
The function is available only on models
equipped with a VOC sensor. Auto air quality
control boosts the ventilation variably accord-
ing to the indoor air VOC level.

The settings menu shows the value ” AQ
now ” the current VOC level. The function is
set by specifying the boost limits when you
want the ventilation boost to start and the
value at which you want the ventilation unit
to reach maximum boost. Appropriate values
can be established based on the “
AQ now
”
value shown in the menu.
If it seems that the ventilation system reacts
too quickly to changes in the carbon dioxide
level, you can increase the filtering value.
TEMPERATURE BOOST
The function is only available in combina-
tion with summer cooling and air heaters
for heating/cooling. The function boosts the
ventilation variably when the room air needs
to be heated or cooled.
You can set the gain values for heating and
cooling from the settings menu. The function
boosts the ventilation according to the differ-
ence between the room temperature and set-
ting value, so that a deviation of one degree
results in boosting as set for the gain value.
Boosting is limited if the supply air is too hot
or too cold.
You can select whether the function should be
active in the Away mode from the menu.
