safety InstructIons:

1. 

Keep your work area clean and free from clutter.

2. 

Have a safe working environment where the tool is not exposed to rain or moisture, that is well lit and there are  
no flammable materials in the area.

3. 

Guard yourself against electrical shock by avoiding body contact with earthed or grounded surfaces.

4. 

All visitors or bystanders should be kept at a safe distance at all times and are not to touch the tool, material or  
power source.

5. 

This tool should be stored in a cool, dry, secure place, disconnected from all power sources.

6. 

Do not force this tool. Cutting at a slow and steady pace where the saw is doing all the work is not only safer, it  
will also do a better job and extend the tool’s working life.

7. 

This tool is only to be used for, the purposes listed in this manual. Misuse of this tool is dangerous and 
automatically voids all warranties and guarantees.

8. 

Dress properly. Do not wear loose hanging garments or jewellery as this may get caught in moving  

 

components. Always wear a hair net for long hair, rubber work gloves and non-skid footwear are recommended 
when using this tool.

9. 

Wear safety glasses, hearing protection and face or dust masks at all times when operating this saw.

10.  This saw is fitted with a dust extraction nozzle. Please ensure that it is hooked up correctly before use.
11.  Never carry this saw by its cord or yank it from the power point. Keep this cord away from sharp objects, water  

and oil.

12.  Always use clamps or vices to secure the work piece you are cutting.
13.  Keep a firm footing and stay balanced at all times.
14.  Make sure the saw blade is kept sharp and clean at all times. Please follow all service instructions   

accurately. Do not attempt to service this tool. Take it to a licensed repairer of Swarts Tools.

15.  Stay alert, watch what you are doing and use common sense when operating a power tool. Do not use tool while 

tired or under the influence of drugs, alcohol or medication. A moment of inattention while operating power tools  
may result in serious personal injury.

16.  Avoid accidental starting. Ensure the switch is in the off-position before plugging in. Carrying tools with your finger  

on the switch or plugging in power tools that have the switch on invites accidents.

17.  Remove adjusting key or wrench before turning the tool on. A wrench or a key left attached to any moving part of    

the tool may result in personal injury.

1)  Power tool plugs must match the outlet. Never modify the plug in any way. Do not use any adapter plugs 
2)  Don’t expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. Water entering a power tool will increase the risk of  
 

electric shock.

3)  When operating a power tool outdoors, use an extension cord suitable for outdoor use. Using a of cord suitable for  
 

outdoor use reduces the risk of electric shock.
