Assembling of a coupling device and wiring must correspond to a carma
nufacturer´s requirement.
The coupling device manufacturer has carried out some
tests on a car with a standard bumper which was used at the beginning of making a
car and so the manufacturer is not liable for information about a posssible slot in a
bumper in case of changes or a facelift of a car during a car production.
1. Clean a car body from soft anticorrosive protection of a car body coat in brackets
and joints of a coupling device with a car body. Clean all drilled holes from metal
shavings and treat them with antirust agent.
2. Use supplied strength joining material.
3. A ball pin, according to a law, cannot cover a number plate, if a trailer is not joined.
4. Wiring of a coupling device must be up to a standard and car maker requirements.
(see a car manual or ask a car seller).
5. The coupling device has been physically tested and homologated according
to the regulation EC 94/20 and is up to the EC standard.

1 Release the muffler on the car; remove the towing eye and the bolts in mounting points
of the towing device (ZT), if any. The towing eye is no more needed as it is replaced
by the TZ; or modify the towing eye according to fig. A for re-mounting it on the vehicle.
2. Fasten slightly the right and left holder of the towing device to the vehicle according to
the figure, do not tighten it.
3. Fasten the main beam of the towing device between these side holders.
4. Make a cut-out in the bumper as shown in the figure and according to the model of
the car.
5. Adjust the towing device on the car and tighten it according to the respective torques.
6. Carry out re-mounting of all dismounted parts of the car.
