Instantaneous electric water heater falls into open type and enclosed type. These two types of
water heaters have different piping installation, so installers must paid special attention to the
following matters:
Open type (DSK): Strictly install a switch valve at the outlet nozzle;
Enclosed type (DSF): Install a safety valve, without strict limitation to pipes. This is applicable to
open type and enclosed type;

Commissioning guideline
1.
Upon completing the installation, the installer shall first notify the user to confirm installation effect
and explain the operation procedures during the process of water inflow and power-on.
2.
Upon the installation of electric water heater, the installer shall open water inlet valve and shower
head to feed cold water, but it is not allowed to power it on or insert the plug before cold water
outflows continuously from the shower head;
3.
After the water heater is filled with water, the installer shall close down the water mixing valve and
check whether there is any water leakage in pipes, water heater, water mixing valve and safety valve;
4.
Plug it into a power socket for startup trial after confirming there is no leakage and explain the
operations to users at this moment;
5.
For mechanical products, the installer shall set the maximum temperature of temperature controller for
heating and observe whether power light and heating indicator light are perfect. For the model with
switch of earth leakage circuit breaker, it needs to test whether this switch works normally;
6.
For electrically controlled products, the installer shall check whether each key is operated normally
and explain to the user the role of each function and setting method.
