3. Remove the oil level check bolt

Inspect that the oil level comes to
the bottom of oil level check hole.
If the oil level is below the bottom
of the hole, first check the gear
case for oil leakage, then add oil
until it reaches the bottom of hole.
If the oil level is excessive the bot-
tom of hole, let the oil flows out of
the hole.
Final Reduction Gear Box Oil
Change
1. Park the vehicle on level ground.
2. Remove the oil level check bolt

Remove the drain bolt
3
and
drain oil.
3. Reinstall the drain bolt. Pour 25 ml
(0.8/0.9 US/Imp oz) of fresh oil
through the oil level check hole.
4. Reinstall the oil level check bolt.
WARNING
New and used oil can be hazard-
ous.
Children and pets may be harmed
by swallowing new or used oil.
Repeated, prolonged contact with
used engine oil may cause skin
cancer. Brief contact with used oil
may irritate skin.
Keep new and used oil away from
children and pets. To minimize
your exposure to used oil, wear a
long-sleeve shirt and moisture-
proof gloves (such as dishwash-
ing gloves) when changing oil. If
oil contacts your skin, wash thor-
oughly with soap and water. Laun-
der any clothing or rags if wet with
oil. Recycle or properly dispose of
used oil.
