REMOVAL

1. Set the plate

NOTE:
Using the two water pump bolt holes.

2. Set the shaft (removal)

3. To push the pinion bearings 

A

 out of gearcase, turn the

lower nut

 clockwise while holding bolt 

C

 tightly.

Do not re-use the pinion bearing once removed.
Always use a new pinion bearing.
