10.4.1 Status
The Status command is used to return information about the state and mode of the attached
SmartShutter.

parenthesis are true only if Shutter Mode (Byte 3) = Neutral Density (222
decimal (DE hexadecimal)).

Neutral Density Microsteps: Contains the
number of microsteps (1 through 144) for
the SmartShutter’s neutral density mode.
Note that this byte is present (and at this
position) in Status structure only if the
Shutter Mode (Byte 3) contains the value for
Neutral Density (222 decimal (DE
hexadecimal)).
