6.3 Calculating the insertion depth
Generally, the sensor tip must be placed in the centre of the pipe. To
facilitate this, the sensor is designed with a scale engraved on its shaft.
To determine the right position, calculate the insertion depth as
described below.
Note:
If the pipe diameter is greater than the shaft length, it is feasible
to install the sensor out of centre of the pipe. For more information,
please contact the manufacturer.
