4.6 CONTROLS
Before starting to work, all operators should familiarize themselves with the location and function of the
controls.
Review your engines instruction manual for specific instructions / requirements
4.6.1 GAS ENGINE:
A Honda GCV160 engine is featured with the SE80CR. Always read the engine instruction manual
supplied with the machine for the detailed operating procedures.
Ignition Switch:
This turn switch controls the
electrical power to the engine
electrical system. When the
switch is turned to "ON" the
engine will continue to run.
Turn the switch to "OFF" and
the engine will stop.
Fuel Shut-Off Valves:
GCV160 engine is equipped with
a fuel valve. Turn the fuel valve
counter-clockwise to turn ON and
clockwise to turn OFF. Turn the
fuel OFF when not in use or when
transporting.
Choke:
The choke controls the fuel/air
mixture to the engine. Close the
choke when starting if the engine is
cold. Open the choke as the engine
warms. Always open the choke fully
during operation.
Starting rope:
This retracting rope and T-bar is
used to turn the engine over for
starting. Grasp the T-bar firmly
and pull the rope sharply to start
the engine.
