1-2 Processor and Chipset Overview
Built upon the functionality and the capability of Intel E5-2600(v2) Series Proces-
sors (Socket R LGA 2011) and the C602 chipset, the X9DRG-HF+II/X9DRG-HTF+II
motherboard provides the performance and feature sets required for dual_proces
-
sor-based 1U or 2U GPU server platforms.
With support of Intel QuickPath interconnect (QPI) Technology, the X9DRG-HF+II/
X9DRG-HTF+II offers point-to-point serial interconnect interface with a transfer
speed of up to 8.0 GT/s, providing superb system performance.
The PCH chipset provides extensive IO support, including the following functions
and capabilities:
