Introduction

1-1 Overview

The SuperServer 5017C-MF is a high-end server comprised of two main subsys-
tems: the SC512F-350B 1U server chassis and the X9SCL-F single processor
motherboard. Please refer to our web site for information on operating systems that
have been certi

ed for use with the system (www.supermicro.com).

In addition to the motherboard and chassis, various hardware components have
been included with the 5017C-MF, as listed below:

Three sets of 4-cm counter-rotating fans (FAN-0086L4)

One passive CPU heatsink (SNK-P0046P)
